Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Brian Wersan – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Senior, Holbrook, NY/Sachem North HS

Wersan won the individual title at the 2013 Skyline Championship on Oct. 27 with a time of 27:05.01 on the 8K course…field consisted of 83 runners…placed runner-up a year ago…St. Joseph's-L.I. captured the team title for the fourth consecutive year…tabbed the Player of the Week for the seventh time this season.

Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
Patrick Goldberg – Mount Saint Vincent
Freshman, Rockaway Beach, NY/Archbishop Molloy H

Goldberg finished fourth overall at the 2013 Skyline Championship on Oct. 27 with a time of 28:35.51…garnered Rookie of the Year honors and first-team All-Conference distinction…named the Rookie of the Week for the fourth time.  

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
Helen Putriment - Sage
Junior, Outside Hitter, Troy, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville HS

Putriment averaged 4.11 kills and 4.33 digs over nine sets as Sage secured the Skyline regular season title with three victories on the week…had a pair of double-double performances and an attack percentage of .378…collected 13 kills and 12 digs with no errors in 10 reception attempts on Oct. 26 in a 3-0 win versus NYU-Poly…notched 15 kills and 10 digs in the Gators' 3-0 victory over Utica on Oct. 23…earns her fifth Skyline Player of the Week citation of the season. 

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Rachel Liebig - Sage
Freshman, Setter, Hartford, NY/Hartford HS

Liebig averaged 10.56 assists and 1.33 digs over nine sets as the Gators registered 3-0 victories over Utica (Oct. 23), NYU-Poly (Oct. 26) and Farmingdale State (Oct. 26)…topped the 30-assist mark versus Utica (34) and Farmingdale State (33). 

Men's Soccer Players of the Week
Chris Hall – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Junior, Midfielder, Mastic, NY/William Floyd HS

Hall tallied four goals and two assists as the Golden Eagles dropped a 4-2 decision against Farmingdale State (Oct. 24) and downed Old Westbury, 9-2 (Oct. 26)…scored one goal against FSC and compiled three goals and two assists versus the Panthers…has six goals and 16 points on the season.

Diego Sarmiento – Farmingdale State
Sophomore, Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst HS

Sarmiento's hat trick on Oct. 24 lifted Farmingdale State past St. Joseph's-L.I., 4-2…marked his second hat trick of the season…amassed 10 shots in a 1-0-1 week for the Rams…named the Skyline Player of the Week for the second time this season. 

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Kieran Donnelly - Maritime
Freshman, Forward, Mahopac, NY/Mahopac HS

Donnelly scored the game-winning goals versus both Mount Saint Vincent (1-0) and NYU-Poly (3-0) as Maritime clinched a berth in the 2013 Skyline Championship…compiled seven shots on the week…earns his second Rookie of the Week honor…leads the Privateers in goals (six), points (14) and game-winning goals (three). 

Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Katherine Henri - Purchase
Sophomore, Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame Academy

Henri won the individual title on Oct. 27 at the 2013 Skyline Championship with a time of 19:42.26 on the 5K course…won the race by nearly 28 seconds…field consisted of 98 runners…Purchase placed fifth out of nine teams…named the Runner of the Week for the third time this season. 

Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
Brigitte Leyva – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Hyde Park, NY/Franklin D. Roosevelt HS

Leyva placed 14th overall in a field of 98 runners on Oct. 27 at the 2013 Skyline Championship…posted a time of 21:28.85 and was named the Rookie of the Year…also garnered second-team All-Conference distinction…tabbed the Rookie of the Week for the second time…MSMC placed second in the nine-team field.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Shanice Robe – Mount Saint Mary
Sophomore, Forward, Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream Central HS

Robe scored all three of the Knights' goals on the week as MSMC captured the Skyline regular season title as a result of victories over Purchase (1-0) and Farmingdale State (2-0)…amassed 16 shots in the two contests…her 59 career goals are tied for the most in program history…tabbed the Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Mandy D'Amico – Mount Saint Vincent
Freshman, Forward, Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township H

D'Amico tallied a goal and an assist on Oct. 26 as Mount Saint Vincent secured a berth in the 2013 Skyline Championship with its 2-1 win over Sage…scored the Dolphins' lone goal in a 5-1 loss to St. Joseph's-L.I. on Oct. 22…now has six goals on the season.
