Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Katie Soeder – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Senior, Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford HS

Soeder dropped just two total games at the No. 2 singles flight as she earned victories over Yeshiva (6-0, 6-0) on Oct. 2 and Sage (6-2, 6-0) on Oct. 5…also went 2-0 at the No. 1 doubles position…improved to 7-0 in singles action in 2013.

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Priscilla Signore – Farmingdale State
Freshman, Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by the Sea HS

Signore posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 2 singles flight and teamed up for an 8-5 victory at No. 1 doubles on Oct. 5 in the Rams' 9-0 win over Mount Saint Mary…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.

Women's Soccer Players of the Week
Jennifer Martino – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Junior, Forward, East Patchogue, NY/Bellport HS

Martino scored five goals – including a pair of game-winning tallies – in a 3-0 week for the Golden Eagles…netted two goals on Oct. 2 in a 4-0 victory over Old Westbury…scored both goals on Sept. 30 as SJC earned a 2-0 win over John Jay…tallied the team's second goal in a 3-0 victory against Sage on Oct. 6…leads SJC in goals (six) and points (12) on the year. 

Shanice Robe – Mount Saint Mary
Sophomore, Forward, Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream Central HS

Robe amassed 12 points on five goals and two assists in the Knights' wins over Sage (4-0) and NYU-Poly (12-0)…compiled 15 shots in the two matches…named the Skyline Player of the Week for the second time this season…leads MSMC with 12 goals and 26 points.

Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Cristiana Votta – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Sophomore, Goalie, East Islip, NY/East Islip HS

Votta posted three shutout victories on the week to earn her third Rookie of the Week citation of the season…recorded three saves on Oct. 2 in the Golden Eagles' 4-0 win over Old Westbury…has registered six shutouts on the year.

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
Helen Putriment – The Sage Colleges
Junior, Outside Hitter, Troy, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville HS

Putriment earns her fourth Skyline Player of the Week citation of the season as she averaged 3.55 digs and 3.09 kills with a .370 attack percentage in a 2-1 week for the Gators…had a match-high 16 kills and recorded 19 digs on Oct. 5 in a 3-2 win over St. Joseph's-L.I…compiled 10 kills and eight digs as Sage posted a 3-0 victory against Mount Saint Vincent on Oct. 5…her 900 career kills place her sixth in program annals. 

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Claire Scully – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Setter, Bloomfield, NJ/Bloomfield HS

Scully amassed 82 assists over 10 sets as Mount Saint Mary earned 3-0 wins over Yeshiva and Maritime and a 3-1 victory against NYU-Poly…averaged 1.5 digs and 1.1 aces…had a season-high 39 assists versus NYU-Poly on Oct. 5 and added eight digs and four service aces.

Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Brian Wersan – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Senior, Holbrook, NY/Sachem North HS

Wersan posted a school-record time of 26:28.03 on Oct. 5 at the NJIT Highlander Challenge on the 8K course…placed sixth overall in a field of 167 runners…earns his sixth Skyline Runner of the Week award of the season…the Golden Eagles finished sixth out of 21 teams.

Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
Nick Diaz – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Freshman, Hauppauge, NY/Hauppauge HS

Competing at the NJIT Highlander Challenge on Oct. 5, Diaz posted a time of 29:11.27…finished 49th out of 167 runners…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the fifth time…SJC placed sixth in the 21-team field.

Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Brittany Guttieri – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Sophomore, Oakdale, NY/Connetquot HS

Guttieri finished fourth overall at the NJIT Highlander Invitational on Oct. 5 in a school-record time of 18:55.27 on the 5K course…field consisted of 149 runners…tabbed the Skyline Runner of the Week for the fifth time this season…St. Joseph's-L.I. placed second out of 19 teams.

Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
Siobhan O'Gorman – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Freshman, Lake Grove, NY/Sachem North HS

O'Gorman registered a time of 20:57.93 on Oct. 5 at the NJIT Highlander Invitational…placed 33rd overall in a field of 149 competitors…SJC finished second in the 19-team field.
