Women's Swimming Recognized as CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

Colorado Springs, Colo.| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.)  women's swimming team was selected as a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division III Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2016 semester, it was announced early Wednesday morning.

The Golden Eagles compiled the fifth-highest grade-point average in Division III, boasting a 3.74 GPA. They were also second among Skyline Conference teams, trailing only Sarah Lawrence.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, a program must have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the specified semester. A total of 658 collegiate swimming and diving teams earned the honor in Spring 2016.

St. Joseph's wrapped up its 2015-16 season with a fourth-place finish at the Skyline Conference Championships.
