Bocchieri and MacDonell Named Skyline Player and Runner of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday evening, and amongst the winners was Erin MacDonell, who was named Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, and Courtney Boccheri, who was named Women's Volleyball Player of the Week. Additionally, men's soccer's Justin Heredia, women's tennis' Kerri McMahon and women's volleyball's Danielle Senecal received Weekly Honor Roll recognition.

Erin MacDonell (Jr.) – Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

MacDonell collects her fourth Skyline Runner of the Week nod posting a time of 19:57.4 at the 17th Annual St. Joseph's College Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Sayville, NY finished third in a field of 155 Division II, III and junior college runners and was the top Division III finisher. The Golden Eagles finished third out of 18 teams.

Courtney Bocchieri (Sr.) – Women's Volleyball Player of the Week 

The middle hitter recorded a career-high 18 kills in a 3-1 win over NJCU on Saturday afternoon in what was the highlight of a weekend that saw her rack up 49 kills through four matches. The senior also notched double-digit kills in three games including in both matches of a Skyline tri-match against Maritime and Mount St. Mary's on Sunday. This is Bocchieri's first player of the week accolade of her career.

Justin Heredia (Sr.) – Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll
Registered four points in two games last week playing as an attacking midfielder. Heredia fed Shayne Johnson for the second goal of the 3-2 double-OT loss to Old Westbury on Wednesday afternoon. The Patchogue, NY native would go on to score the game-winner in a 5-1 conference victory over Sarah Lawrence at SJC's Senior Day on Saturday afternoon. Heredia is currently second on the team with ten points on the year.

Kerri McMahon (Fr.) – Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll
Freshman Kerri McMahon earns an honor roll mention after her impressive performance in SJC's 9-0 win over Purchase St. on Saturday afternoon. McMahon, who is undefeated in conference play, earned an 8-3 win at #2 doubles before winning #2 singles match 7-6 (7-1), 6-2.

Danielle Senecal (So.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
Libero Danielle Senecal tallied game-high totals in digs in all four matches as SJC posted a 4-0 record last week dropping only one set. The sophomore tallied her second-highest dig total of the season (25) in a 3-0 win over Mount St. Mary's.
