New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners were freshman Carly Credidio and senior Caroline Mandaro of the women's soccer and women's tennis teams, who were both named Rookie of the Week in their sports. Additionally, sophomores Nora Burnett (women's tennis) and Christina Gagliardi (women's soccer), and senior Morgan Tiska (women's volleyball) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls for their respective sports.

Carly Credidio (Fr.) – Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Credidio potted a pair of goals last week as the SJC women's soccer team posted a 1-1 record. Credidio tallied her first career goal in the 75th minute in a 4-1 win over CCNY on September 12 and later doubled her goal total in the 85th minute. Before play on Monday night, the Farmingville, NY native was tied for second on the team in goals (2).

Caroline Mandaro (Fr.) – Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week

In a 5-3 win over Lehman on September 12, Mandaro, teamed with Burnett, earned an 8-1 victory at the third doubles court and went on to win 6-0, 6-1 at fifth singles. Mandaro would replicate her 2-0 performance vs. York on September 16, picking up 8-0 third doubles and 6-0, 6-0 sixth singles wins in a 9-0 SJC victory. As of Monday, Mandaro boasted 4-1 records in both singles and doubles play on the year.

Nora Burnett (So.) – Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll

Burnett went 4-0 this past week winning both her singles and doubles matches in SJC's wins over Lehman and York. The Amityville, NY native dominated her third singles match, winning both sets 6-0, 6-1, and won 8-1 at third doubles as the Golden Eagles topped Lehman 5-3. Burnett would win all games at third singles and second doubles in a 9-0 win over York.

Christina Gagliardi (So.) – Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

Gagliardi scored the equalizer and the game-winner to help lead the Golden Eagles past CCNY, 4-1, at home on September 12. Before play on Monday, the Ronkonkoma, NY native ranked first on the team and second in the conference in goals (7) and third in the conference in points (16). Additionally, Gagliardi was 13th in the nation in goals and 15th in points.

Morgan Tiska (Sr.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

In five matches last week, Tiska put down 52 kills at a 3.1 kill-per-set pace. In a 3-0 sweep of CCNY on September 11, Tiska collected a game-high 10 kills, and in a 3-2 loss to Potsdam on September 16, the East Quogue, NY native established a new career-high with a game-best 23 kills. Tiska, who leads the team with 62 kills, is currently hitting at .205 efficiency and is averaging 2.70 kills-per-set.
