New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners were senior Erin MacDonell, who was named Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, and freshmen Megan Haviland (women's cross country) and Steven Deng (men's soccer), who were named Rookies of the Week in their respective sports.

Additionally, sophomore Christina Gagliardi (women's soccer), junior Ryan Haun (men's cross country) and junior Danielle Senecal (women's volleyball) all appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls.

Erin MacDonell (Sr.) – Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

MacDonell earned her third first-place finish of the year in as many races after posting a program-best 5k time of 18:10.8 at the Bard College Invitational on Saturday afternoon. A two-time Skyline Runner of the Week and the ECAC Runner of the Week on September 13, MacDonell powered the SJC women to a first-place finish in a field of 18 teams.

Meagan Haviland (Fr.) – Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week

For the second time this season, Haviland is named Skyline Rookie of the Week after turning in a seventh-place finish at the Bard College Invitational on Saturday. Haviland posted a 5k time of 19:28.2 and was the highest placing freshman runner at the event The Sound Beach, NY native, who was named ECAC Metro Rookie of the Week on September 13, finished 35 seconds before the closest freshman competitor at the event.

Steven Deng (Fr.) – Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Deng, a first-time Rookie of the Week selection, recorded his second-straight shutout in SJC's 1-0 victory over SUNY Maritime on the road on Saturday afternoon. The keeper, who boasts a 2-2 record on a team that is 2-5, made nine saves to keep a clean sheet and has not allowed a goal in his last 200 minutes of action.

Christina Gagliardi (So.) – Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

Gagliardi collected eight points in three games as the women's soccer team posted a 2-1 record last week. In a 4-0 win over Purchase College last Monday, the Ronkonkoma, NY native tallied twice, including the game-winner, and on Saturday she netted SJC's third goal and was credited with two assists in a 5-1 win over Lehman College. Now with 24 points on the season, Gagliardi leads the team and is third in the conference in both points and goals (10).

Ryan Haun (Jr.) – Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll

Haun turned in a fourth-place finish at the Bard Invitational on Saturday afternoon with an 8k time of 26:43.9. The Bayport, NY native was the third-highest placing Skyline Conference runner at the event and finished 43 seconds off the race's winner. The SJC men finished fifth out of a competing field of 20 teams.

Danielle Senecal (Jr.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Senecal, who leads the Skyline Conference in digs-per-set (5.86), collected 56 digs in three matches last week as the Golden Eagles posted a 1-2 record. In 3-0 losses to Hunter (9/20) and Manhattanville (9/23), Senecal led SJC with 10 and 22 digs, respectively, and was credited with a game-best 24 digs in a 3-0 victory over Baruch on Saturday.
