New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning, and amongst the winners was sophomore Rayneri Ruiz who was named Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Additionally, sophomore Juliana Cintron-Leonardo (women's soccer) and senior Morgan Tiska (women's volleyball) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls in their respective sports.

Rayneri Ruiz (So.) – Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Ruiz scored once and picked up a pair of helpers in the men's soccer team's 7-0 victory over Farmingdale State last Wednesday—a win that ensured the Golden Eagles entered the conference championship tournament as the second seed. Now with team-leading figures in goals (11) and points (27), Ruiz, before play on Wednesday, ranked fourth in the conference in points-per-game (1.93).

Juliana Cintron-Leonardo (So.) – Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

In two games in goal for the women's soccer team, Cintron-Leonardo made a combined six saves and posted two shutout victories as the Golden Eagles improved to 11-7 on the season. The Riverhead, NY native made three saves apiece in the team's regular-season finale vs. Maritime on October 25 and in a first-round, 1-0 victory over Purchase on Saturday afternoon.

Morgan Tiska (Sr.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

In three victories last week, Tiska averaged 2.5 kills and .9 service aces-per-set as the Golden Eagles wrapped up their regular season with a 14-13 overall record. In a crucial 3-2 victory over Mt. St. Mary on October 28, Tiska hit .355 and put down a game-best 14 kills. In the team's regular-season finale, a 3-0 win over Sarah Lawrence on Saturday, the East Quoge, NY native hit .438 and was credited with eight kills.
