Britt Named Skyline Player of the Week, Two Others on Honor Rolls

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday evening, and amongst the winners was junior Paul Britt, who earned Baseball Player of the Week honors. Additionally, sophomore Kyle Biggers (men's volleyball) and junior Nicole Stoppelli (women's lacrosse) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls for their respective sports.

Paul Britt (Jr.) - Baseball Player of the Week

SJC's most consistent hitter at the RussMatt Invitational in Auburndale, FL last week. In eight games the infielder recorded 10 hits in 24 at-bats for a .417 batting average. Additionally, Britt went for eight RBI's, five runs and two doubles. In a 9-2 win over Lesley on March 9 the Commack, NY native belted a grand slam and currently leads the team in RBI's (9) and slugging percentage (.700).

Kyle Biggers (So.) - Men's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

In three game last week Biggers put down 21 kills at a 3.00 kills-per-set rate. Hitting .642 on the week, the middle hitter posted game-high totals in kills in all three matches. In a win over Baruch on March 8, Biggers hit .467 and recorded 10 kills. The Holbrook, NY native went for five kills and hit 1.000 in a 3-0 sweep of Yeshiva on March 11.

Nicole Stoppelli (Jr.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

In a 17-1 home victory over Husson University on March 10, Stoppelli went for four goals and four assists for a game-high eight points. The Lindenhurst, NY native scored on all four of her shot attempts, caused two turnovers and scooped up two ground balls. The attack currently leads the Golden Eagles in assists (10) and points (18) through three games this season.
