New York, NY| Junior Frank Basile and freshman Alyssa Signor both earned their second weekly accolades in as many days when they appeared on Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association's (MBWA) Divisions II-III Honorable Mention lists on Tuesday afternoon.

Signor led the Golden Eagles last week with 18.3 points- and 8.0 rebounds-per-game through three contests and was named Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the second time this season on Monday.

In a 67-49 win at Sarah Lawrence on Nov. 27, the guard posted a game-best 21 points and followed up the performance with her first-career double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) in a home win over Baruch on Nov. 29. The freshman capped the week with an 18-point outing in a loss at Old Westbury on Dec. 1.

Fresh off his second Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll nod on Monday, Basile picks up his first-ever MBWA selection after leading the men's team with 22.5 points- and 11.5 rebounds-per-game in a 0-2 week for the Golden Eagles.

The guard scored game-high point totals of 18 and 27 in losses at Sarah Lawrence and Old Westbury, respectively. Basile also extended his double-double streak to four games and is fourth in the conference in rebounds-per-game (9.7).

Both the men and women return to action on Saturday, December 8 when they host St. Joseph's College (Brkln) for a Skyline Conference doubleheader at 1:00 and 3:00 pm.
