New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners were freshman Jenna DeFina (softball), sophomore Meagan Haviland (women's track) and junior Tim Woodford (baseball) of St. Joseph's College (L.I.), who were named Rookie, Athlete and Pitcher of the Week in their respective sports.

Additionally, seniors Daniel Antonawich (men's track) and Tyler Costa (baseball), sophomore Kassandra Tibbetts (softball) and freshman Catherine Zucker (softball) appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.

Jenna DeFina (Fr.) – Softball Rookie of the Week

DeFina led the Golden Eagles in a 3-1 week with a .615 batting average, eight hits, three runs and three RBI's. In a 3-2 win over Farmingdale on Saturday, the outfielder hit 3-for-4 with an RBI, and in a 6-3 win over Yeshiva on Sunday DeFina drove in a pair of runs.

Meagan Haviland (So.) – Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Haviland placed first in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 5:11.07 at the annual Coach 'O' Invitational hosted by the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Sunday afternoon. The sophomore edged USMMA's Brooke Jorstad who finished fewer than two seconds later.

Tim Woodford (Jr.) – Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Woodford earned his team-leading fourth win this week with an 11-0 victory over St. Joseph's (Brkln) on Sunday afternoon. The junior scattered four hits with six strikeouts in a seven-inning complete-game effort.

Daniel Antonawich (Sr.) – Men's Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll

Antonawich finished second in the 110m hurdles event with a time of 17.99 at Sunday's Coach 'O' Invitational the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Tyler Costa (Sr.) – Baseball Weekly Honor Roll

Costa hit .667 last week (6-for-9) while slugging at a .778 clip. He registered a team-best six runs and five stolen bases. The outfielder went 4-for-4 with four runs scored and four stolen bases in an 11-0 win over SJC-Brooklyn on Sunday.

Kassandra Tibbetts (So.) – Softball Weekly Honor Roll

Tibbetts made three starts in four appearances last week and hit .600 with three RBI's. In a 17-1 win over yeshiva on Sunday the infielder hit 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI's.

Catherine Zucker (Fr.) – Softball Weekly Honor Roll

Zucker made two appearances and posted a 2-0 record with a 1.45 ERA last week. The freshman fanned five batters and allowed four hits in a 3-2 complete-game victory over Farmingdale on Saturday.
