New York, NY| A total of 86 St. Joseph's College (L.I.) student-athletes were named to the Skyline Conference's 2018-19 Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by Commissioner Linda Bruno on Tuesday morning. Of the 12 member institutions, St. Joseph's tied for most selections with Mt. St. Mary College.

The Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earned a 3.3 grade point average while competing in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's swimming, men's tennis and men's volleyball during the winter and/or spring semesters of the 2018-19 academic year. In total, 633 student-athletes were honored throughout the conference.

All 11 Skyline-sponsored SJC winter and spring sports programs received selections, with baseball (14) garnering the most. Softball saw 12 honored and women's lacrosse and women's track & field placed 11 student-athletes apiece on the Honor Roll.

"The Skyline Conference student-athletes continue to balance academics and athletics at a very high level," said Bruno. "Their experience at our member institutions epitomizes what the NCAA Division III Philosophy Statement is all about."
