New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners were junior Megan Haviland (women's cross country), freshman Matt Lopez (men's cross country) and senior Danielle Senecal (women's volleyball), who all took home major weekly honors.

Additionally, Nora Burnett (women's tennis), Amanda Goldstein (women's volleyball) and Rayneri Ruiz (men's soccer) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls.

Meagan Haviland (Jr.) – Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Runner of the Week for the third time this season, Haviland finished 10th at the NJIT XC Challenge on Saturday afternoon. The junior posted a 5k time of 18:45.1 and was the highest-placing Division III runner at the event. SJC finished 13th in a field of 29 teams.

Matt Lopez (Fr.) – Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
A first-time conference Rookie of the Week, Lopez led the men's cross country team at the NJIT XC Challenge with 31st-place finish. The freshman posted a time of 26:53.60 8k time and averaged 5:24.6 mile pace. The Golden Eagles finished in 10th place in a competing field of 31 teams.

Danielle Senecal (Sr.) – Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week
Senecal guided the Golden Eagle defense in a 4-0 week with 50 total digs at a 4.17 digs-per-set rate. The senior recorded double-digit digs in three matches including a game-high 17 in a 3-0 sweep over Albertus Magus on October 5.

Nora Burnett (Sr.) – Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll
Burnett posted 2-0 records in both singles and doubles action last week. In an 8-1 win over Manhattanville on Oct. 2, the senior picked up an 8-3 win at first doubles and a 6-4, 7-5 second-singles victory. Burnett would replicate her undefeated performance on Oct. 5 with tie-breaking 8-7 (7-5) and 6-2, 3-6 (16-14) wins at first doubles and second singles, respectively, in a 9-0 win over Purchase.

Amanda Goldstein (So.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
Goldstein led the Golden Eagles in a 4-0 week with 40 kills while hitting at a .368 clip. She averaged 3.64 kills-per-set while adding eight total blocks and eight service aces. Goldstein recorded double-digit kills against Old Westbury (12) and Albertus Magnus (14 ) with and a .765 hitting percentage.

Rayneri Ruiz (Sr.) – Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll
Ruiz, tied for the Skyline Conference lead in goals (8), tallied twice in a 4-2 loss at St. Joseph's (Brkln) on October 1. The forward appears on the Weekly Honor Roll for the seventh time in his career.
