New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners were junior Megan Haviland (women's cross country) and freshman Abbey Curcio (women's soccer) who were named Runner of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

Additionally, Nora Burnett (women's tennis) and Brionna Silva (women's volleyball) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls.

Meagan Haviland (Jr.) – Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Haviland picked up a second-place finish at the inaugural Golden Eagle Invitational at Bethpage State Park on Saturday afternoon. In a field of 150 runners, Haviland posted a time of 18:34.5 and was the highest-placing Division III runner. Haviland claims Runner of the Week honors for the second-straight week.

Abbey Curcio (Fr.) – Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Curcio finished the week with four points on a goal and a pair assists all coming in a 5-1 win over St. Joseph's (Brkln) on October 12. The forward is currently second on the team in goals (7), assists (7) and total points (21).

Nora Burnett (Sr.) – Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll
Burnett appears on the Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll for the second-straight week after a strong showing in a 7-2 win at Mt. St. Mary on October 12. After posting an 8-5 win with Amanda Post at first doubles the senior went on to secure a 6-2, 6-1 second singles victory.

Brionna Silva (Jr.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
Silva guided the Golden Eagles in a 2-0 week dishing 67 assists while picking up 25 digs. In a five-set victory over Brooklyn College on October 7 the junior finished with a double-double of season-highs of 40 assists and 15 digs. She averaged 8.38 assists-per-set and 3.13 digs-per-set on the week.
