New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday Morning and amongst the winners was freshman Alyssa Adomaites of St. Joseph's College (L.I.), who was named Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

Additionally, senior Frank Basile of the men's basketball team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll

Alyssa Adomaites (Fr.) - Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
In her fourth game of the season, Adomaites tallied 27 points on 8-for-16 shooting from the field as SJC dropped an 86-70 decision to Manhattanville on Saturday afternoon. The freshman was also credited with a season-high six rebounds and two assists. Since joining the Golden Eagles in late December, the guard has averaged 19.0 points-, 3.8 rebounds- and 3.3 assists-per-game.

Frank Basile (Sr.) - Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Basile averaged a double-double of 20.5 points- and 10.0 rebounds-per-game in two matches last week for the men's basketball team. The guard went for 30 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a 10-point loss to Old Westbury on Wednesday and capped off the week with 11 points and 11 rebounds in a home defeat to Mt. St. Vincent on Saturday. Basile sits in second place in the league in scoring (24.5 PPG) and fifth in rebounding (8.5 RPG).
