Softball Player of the Week
Gina Moscatelli – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Senior, Outfielder, Massapequa, NY/Massapequa HS
Moscatelli batted .615 (8-for-13) over four contests with five runs scored and five RBI as the Golden Eagles won three of four games in league play…added three triples and a pair of walks…collected five hits on Mar. 23 as St. Joseph’s-L.I. notched a pair of wins (7-2, 10-2) over Mount Saint Vincent.

Softball Pitchers of the Week
Julia De Carmine – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Senior, RHP, Holtsville, NY/Sachem East HS
De Carmine earned a pair of wins with a 1.40 earned run average over 10 innings pitched with six strikeouts…scattered two hits on Mar. 24 in the Golden Eagles’ 8-0 victory over Farmingdale State…yielded two earned runs and fanned five in a 10-2 win versus Mount Saint Vincent on Mar. 23…did not issue a walk in a pair of starts.

Taylor Tedeschi – Farmingdale State
Sophomore, RHP, Levittown, NY/Island Trees HS
Tedeschi went 2-0 over three appearances with a 1.87 earned run average in 15 innings pitched…hurled a complete-game shutout with four strikeouts on Mar. 24 in the Rams’ 3-0 win versus St. Joseph’s-L.I…allowed one earned run while fanning five as FSC notched a 6-2 victory over Old Westbury on Mar. 23.

Softball Rookie of the Week
Danielle Maffei – Mount Saint Vincent
Freshman, Outfielder, Valhalla, NY/Valhalla HS
Maffei batted .478 (11-for-23) over six games with eight runs scored and four RBI…cracked a pair of home runs and added a double and a triple…collected at least one hit in all six contests.

Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Lyndsey Cannon - Kean
Senior, Midfielder, Delran, NJ/Delran HS
Cannon tallied eight goals and added three assists while registering 19 shots as Kean fell to St. Joseph’s-L.I. (8-6) on Mar. 22 and earned a 19-8 win over Ramapo (Mar. 20)…added 10 ground balls, seven draw controls and four caused turnovers…compiled six goals against Ramapo and scored twice versus St. Joseph’s-L.I.

Women's Lacrosse Rookies of the Week
Heather Ferchland – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Freshman, Attack, Selden, NY/Centereach HS
Ferchland amassed 10 goals on 16 shots as St. Joseph’s-L.I. earned wins over Kean (8-6) and Manhattanville (17-8) and fell to Western Connecticut State (16-8)…scored four goals on Mar. 22 against Kean…tallied four goals and an assist versus Western Connecticut State on Mar. 19…scored twice on Mar. 24 against Manhattanville…added a pair of ground balls.

Lindsay Hughes – Ramapo
Freshman, Attack, Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley HS
Hughes scored the game-winning goal on Mar. 23 as Ramapo edged Mount Saint Vincent, 10-8…scored nine goals on 21 shots in two matches and added a pair of assists…recorded five ground balls, 20 draw controls and four caused turnovers.
