Players of the Week
Saide Hoeschen – NYU-Poly
Junior, Outfielder, Huntington Beach, CA/Sage Hill HS
Hoeschen hit a grand slam on Mar. 30 as NYU-Poly earned a 9-0 win
over Sage in the second game of a doubleheader…had two hits
and scored the game-winning run in the Jays’ 3-1 victory in
game one…scored three runs in NYU-Poly’s only two
contests of the week.
Julianne Tierney – St.
Joseph’s-L.I.
Sophomore, Outfielder, Bethpage, NY/Bethpage HS
Tierney collected four hits in eight at-bats with four runs
scored, four RBI and four walks…her two-run homer in the
seventh inning on Mar. 28 lifted the Golden Eagles to a 2-1 win at
Richard Stockton…also slugged a two-run homer in a 5-4 loss
to Richard Stockton.

of the Week
Lyndsey Rathburn – NYU-Poly
Junior, RHP, San Celemente, CA/Capistrano Valley HS
Rathburn fired a one-hit shutout on Mar. 30 as NYU-Poly earned a
9-0 victory over Sage…fanned three and walked just
one…improved to 3-0 with a 0.71 earned run average on the
season.
Softball Rookies
of the Week
Meagan Anderson – Farmingdale State
Freshman, Catcher, Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford HS
Anderson batted .588 (10-for-17) with six runs scored and four RBI
over four games…cracked a pair of triples and one
double…had a team-high 15 total bases on the
week…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the second
time this season.
Katie Kovage – The Sage Colleges
Freshman, RHP, Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosick Falls Central
HS
Kovage tossed a no-hitter on Mar. 29 as Sage earned an 11-0 win
over Cobleskill…fanned five and did not walk a
batter…allowed one hit in 3.1 innings of scoreless relief on
Mar. 30 in the Gators’ 9-0 loss to NYU-Poly…struck out
three with no walks.

of the Week
Steven Maio – Mount Saint Vincent
Sophomore, Infielder, Thornwood, NY/Westlake HS
Maio collected five hits in six at-bats (.833) with five RBI and
two runs scored over two games…added three walks and a pair
of doubles…went 2-for-2 with two RBI on Mar. 26 in a 15-5
loss to the College of Staten Island…in a 10-8 loss to
Lehman on Mar. 27, Maio went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Glenn Patriss – St.
Joseph’s-L.I.
Sophomore, RHP, Wading River, NY/Riverhead HS
Patriss fired a three-hit complete-game shutout on Mar. 26 as St.
Joseph’s-L.I. earned a 4-0 win over Oneonta
State…struck out four and walked just one.
James Powers – Farmingdale State
Junior, RHP, Jamesport, NY/Riverhead HS
Powers surrendered just one hit over seven shutout innings while
fanning seven on Mar. 26 as Farmingdale State downed Baruch,
6-1…issued one walk while earning his fourth win of the
year…tabbed the Skyline Pitcher of the Week for the second
time this season.

of the Week
Adam Brant - Purchase
Freshman, RHP, Hyde Park, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes HS
Brant allowed an unearned run on two hits over seven innings to
earn a no-decision on Mar. 26 against No. 13 Keystone…struck
out three…opposing hitters are batting. 164 on the year.

Players of the Week
Tierney Conlon – Montclair State
Sophomore, Attack, Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell HS
Conlon compiled seven goals and 14 assists and added seven ground
balls as Montclair State posted victories over Kean (22-9) on Mar.
26 and FDU-Florham (21-9) on Mar. 28…had three goals and
seven assists against Kean and tallied four goals and seven assists
versus FDU-Florham…marked her third performance with
double-digit points on the year...named the Skyline Player of the
Week for the second time this season.
Alexa Pajak – The Sage Colleges
Senior, Attack, Earlton, NY/Academy of the Holy Names
Pajak scored 14 goals and added four assists while amassing 30
shots as Sage notched wins over Old Westbury (14-4) and Green
Mountain (10-7)…added six ground balls and a pair of caused
turnovers…scored six consecutive goals as the Gators rallied
from a 6-3 deficit against Green Mountain…recorded seven
goals and three assists versus Old Westbury…has scored 70
goals in 19 career games.

Rookie of the Week
Danielle Dittmeier – St.
Joseph’s-L.I.
Freshman, Midfielder/Attack, Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford
HS
Dittmeier scored six goals – including the game-winner
– on eight shots as St. Joseph’s-L.I. registered a 16-6
win over Ramapo on Mar. 27 in the Golden Eagles’ lone contest
of the week…added one ground ball.
