St. Joseph's Announces 2012 Inductees For Athletic Hall of Fame

Honorees Recognized for Commitment to Education and Athletics

Patchogue, N.Y. – The Office of Alumni Relations and Department of Athletics at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) are pleased to announce the Fifth Annual Golden Eagle Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Reception on Friday, October 5 at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the John A. Danzi Athletic Center located on the College’s Long Island Campus in Patchogue, NY.

“We are extremely happy to honor this year’s Hall of Fame inductees,” said Don Lizak, athletic director at SJC. "These inductees exemplify the strong tradition of athletic excellence and team success at St. Joseph's College. We take great pride in recognizing their accomplishments and contributions to St. Joseph's College.”

Established in 2008 by the Office of Alumni Relations and Department of Athletics at SJC, the Golden Eagle Athletic Hall of Fame honors former athletes, coaches and friends of the College who have contributed significantly to the athletic program and continue to exemplify the principles of sportsmanship and integrity through their contributions and achievements in their respective communities and professions.

This year’s celebrated class of honorees includes Angela Chiarelli Campagna ’96, Brian Lynch ’96, Christina King ’01, Michael Reichert ’04, Tim Trava ’04, the 1993 Women’s Tennis Team and the 1994 Baseball Team.
