SJC Baseball Transfer and Patchogue Native Featured at Baseball on the Island

Patchogue, NY| Recent St. Joseph’s College (L.I.) baseball transfer Nick Clemente was featured on the homepage of Baseball on the Island on Sunday, highlighting his switch from the College of Saint Rose (NCAA D-II).

The move is something of a homecoming for Clemente, who grew up in Patchogue and graduated Patchogue-Medford High School in 2014. After spending one season with the Golden Knights, during which Clemente made just one appearance, the 6-foot-3 hurler decided to return home.

Clemente will hope to follow in the footsteps of future teammate Nick Girardi, who was named Skyline Player of the Year in 2015 after transferring from Manhattan College.
