Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Katie Soeder – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Junior, Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford HS
Soeder earned a three-set win (2-6, 6-2, 6-1) at No. 2 singles versus Farmingdale State on Oct. 3 and posted a 7-5, 6-3 victory on Oct. 6 as the Golden Eagles notched a 6-3 win versus Purchase…also paired up for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles against Purchase.

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Morgan Holbrook – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Montgomery, NY/Valley Central HS
Holbrook improved to 7-0 at the No. 2 singles flight with a 6-0, 6-2 win on Oct. 6 as Mount Saint Mary registered a 7-2 victory at Farmingdale State…paired up for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles as well…earns her fourth Skyline Rookie of the Week honor.

Men's Soccer Players of the Week
John Dettori – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Senior, Forward, West Babylon, NY/West Babylon HS
Dettori amassed two goals and two assists with nine shots as St. Joseph’s-L.I. posted wins over NYU-Poly (4-2) and Purchase (4-0)…assisted on the team’s first two goals versus Poly on Oct. 2…netted a pair of goals – including the game-winner – on Oct. 6 at Purchase…tabbed the Skyline Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Scott Jarosz – The Sage Colleges
Junior, Forward, Brunswick, ME/Brunswick HS
Jarosz scored in the 72nd and 87th minutes on Oct. 7 as Sage rallied for a 2-1 win versus Elmira…added a goal on Oct. 2 in the Gators’ 2-0 victory over Purchase…leads the team in goals (17) and points (34)…earns his second Skyline Player of the Week citation of the year.

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Fabio Alves – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Junior, Forward, Holbrook, NY/Sachem East HS
Alves scored a pair of goals – including the game-winner – and added an assist on Oct. 2 as St. Joseph’s L.I. registered a 4-2 win versus NYU-Poly…tallied a goal in the Golden Eagles’ 4-0 victory over Purchase on Oct. 6…the first-year performer compiled nine shots on the week.

Women's Volleyball Players of the Week
Lauren Halverson – Mount Saint Mary
Senior, Setter, Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford HS
Halverson averaged 10.4 assists, 2.7 digs and 1.5 service aces over 10 sets as Mount Saint Mary notched wins over St. Joseph’s-L.I. (3-0), Purchase (3-0) and Sage (3-1)…amassed a season-high 43 assists on Oct. 3 versus Sage…recorded double-digit digs versus both Sage and St. Joseph’s-L.I…named the Skyline Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Sarah Palladino – Farmingdale State
Sophomore, Outside Hitter, Lindenhurst, NY/Copiague HS
Palladino averaged 5.38 kills and 3.25 digs over eight sets and added eight service aces as Farmingdale State posted wins over Old Westbury (3-0) and Mount Saint Vincent (3-2) on Oct. 6… registered 22 kills, five aces and 16 digs versus CMSV and 21 kills, five aces and 10 digs against OW.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Kayla Kurka – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Middle Blocker, Islip, NY/Islip HS
Kurka averaged 3.10 kills and 1.7 digs over 10 sets with a .359 attacking percentage as Mount Saint Mary recorded wins over St. Joseph’s-L.I. (3-0), Purchase (3-0) and Sage (3-1)…notched 11 kills and just one error in 19 attempts versus St. Joseph’s-L.I. on Oct. 6…added nine kills versus Sage and 11 against Purchase.

Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Mike Lombardi – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Senior, Ronkonkoma, NY/Connetquot HS
Competing at the NJIT Highlander Invitational on Oct. 7, Lombardi finished 11th overall with a time of 26:32.42 on the 8K course…field consisted of 160 runners…SJC placed fifth out of 17 teams…named the Skyline Runner of the Week for the second time this season.

Men’s Cross Country Rookies of the Week
Cameron Coneys – Maritime
Freshman, Centerport, NY/Harborfields HS
Coneys won the individual title on Oct. 7 at the York (NY) Invitational with a time of 27:23 to best the field by more than a minute…field consisted of 128 runners…Maritime placed first out of 14 teams…tabbed the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the fifth time.

Brian Wersan – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Junior, Holbrook, NY/Sachem North HS
Wersan finished 20th in a field of 160 runners on Oct. 7 at the NJIT Highlander Invitational with a time of 27:00.66 on the 8K course…SJC placed fifth in the 17-team field…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the second time.

Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Gillian Goodwin – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Junior, Center Moriches, NY/Center Moriches HS

Goodwin finished ninth overall at the NJIT Highlander Invitational on Oct. 7 with a time of 19:03.61 on the 5K course…field consisted of 131 runners…St. Joseph’s-L.I. placed first in the 15-team field.

Women’s Cross County Rookies of the Week
Brittany Guttieri – St. Joseph’s-L.I.
Freshman, Oakdale, NY/Connetquot HS
Competing at the NJIT Highlander Invitational on Oct. 7, Guttieri finished 21st in a field of 131 competitors with a time of 19:44.20 on the 5K course…SJC placed first out of 15 teams.

Katherine Henri - Purchase
Freshman, Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame Academy

Henri finished 30th overall at the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State on Oct. 6 with a time of 23:35.96 on the 6K course…field consisted of 453 runners…PC placed 28th in the 43-team field…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the fifth time.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Vanessa DiSilvio – Mount Saint Mary
Sophomore, Forward, Massapequa, NY/Massapequa HS

DiSilvio scored a pair of goals – including the game-winner in the 80th minute on Oct. 6 – as Mount Saint Mary edged Farmingdale State, 2-1…added a goal on Oct. 3 in a 4-1 win over Ramapo…amassed 10 shots on the week.

Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week
Nicole Maher – The Sage Colleges
Freshman, Forward, Glen Cove, NY/Saint Dominic HS

Maher tallied two goals and an assist on Oct. 3 as Sage earned a 4-0 win over Purchase in the Gators’ lone contest of the week…marked her second game-winning goal of the year…leads Sage in goals (seven), assists (five) and points (19)…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the second time.
