Results through lightning delayEwing, NJ. … The College of New Jersey outdoor track and field program will host the Lions' Invitational on Friday afternoon and Saturday on campus at TCNJ's Track and Field Complex.
Over 1,200 student-athletes from more than 30 programs are expected to compete at the annual meet. Participants in the hammer throw will compete on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and the remainder of events will commence on Saturday.
The field events on Saturday will begin with the men's javelin at 10:30 a.m. Running events on the track will begin with the 5,000-meter race at 10:45 a.m. The last scheduled event for the meet is the 4x400-meter relay. The men's race is slated for 5:15 p.m. and followed by the women's race.
Live scoring will not be available today. We will post results at the midpoint of the meet later today.
Busy day on campus: A note to those looking forward to attending the meet. There are several athletic events taking place on campus on Saturday. Baseball hosts Richard Stockton in a doubleheader, the softball team plays host to William Paterson University in a doubleheader, lacrosse takes on Kean University in Lions' Stadium, and women's tennis squares off against SUNY Geneseo in the tennis complex. We ask for your patience if there is any traffic on campus.
