Jason Dierkes Wins National ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award

Patchogue, N.Y. - Senior pitcher Jason Dierkes (Mount Sinai, N.Y./Mount Sinai) is the winner of the 2012 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove award.  This marks the first time an athlete from St. Joseph's College has earned this national honor.

Dierkes concluded the season with an unblemished fielding percentage (1.000) in 32 chances (29 assists, three putouts).
