Edward Bergmann – Farmingdale State
Senior, OF, East Meadow, NY/East Meadow HS
Bergmann collected eight hits in 15 at-bats (.533) with five RBI and five runs scored as FSC opened its season with four wins in five games…went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI on Mar. 8 in the Rams' 9-8 victory over Brockport…went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in a 6-1 win versus USMMA on Mar. 5…was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen base opportunities…added three outfield assists.

Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Adam Brant - Purchase
Sophomore, RHP, Hyde Park, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes HS
Brant tossed six shutout innings with six strikeouts on Mar. 8 as Purchase notched a 12-0 win over Lehman…scattered three hits – all singles – and compiled seven ground ball outs in his first start of 2014.

Anthony Bonilla – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Freshman, OF, Massapequa Park, NY/Farmingdale HS
Bonilla batted .444 (5-for-9) with four runs scored and a pair of walks over three games…scored three runs on Mar. 8 as SJC earned a 10-6 win over Plattsburgh…went 2-for-3 with two runs scored on Mar. 9 in a 7-5 loss to Brockport…hit safely in all three games with an on-base percentage of .583.
