Equestrian Places Sixth at Molloy Horse Show

Melville, N.Y. - The St Joseph's College women's equestrian team competed in Molloy's annual horse show, on October 28, at Thomas School of Horsemanship. The women placed 6th for the day but maintained 3rd place overall in the regional standings.

Congratulations to Jean Marie Barrella (Deer Park, N.Y. / Deer Park) for classing up into the next level of riding.

Other notable performances were:
Taylor Anderson - Open flat- 4th, Intermediate Fences - 6th.
Jean Marie Barrella - Intermediate flat - 2nd, classed up into Open flat. Intermediate fences - 2nd.
Alyssa Hauser - Walk-Trot-Canter - 1st.
Kaitlyn Kirchner - Novice flat - 5th, Novice fences - 5th.
Kristina Koehler - Novice flat - 6th, Novice fences - Reserve.
Taylor Little - Open flat - 6th, Intermediate fences - 1st.
Juliann LoVerde - Novice flat - 5th.
Michelle Nevola - Walk-Trot - 1st.
Maclain Palumbo - Walk-Trot-Canter - 2nd.
Cassie Scofield - Open flat - 3rd.

The next competition for St. Joseph's is at Country Farms in Bellport on November 4th; hosted by Hofstra and New York University.
