Equestrian Walks Away with Blue Ribbon

Bellport, N.Y. – The St. Joseph's College women's equestrian team placed first overall at the Hofstra University Invitational at Country Farms. The Eagles won with a total score of 36 edging out second place Stony Brook University, who scored 24. St. Joseph's currently sits six points out of first place overall in the regional standings.

Senior Cassie Scofield (Stony Brook, N.Y. / Ward Melville) was named High Point Rider of the Day. Senior Michelle Nevola (Copiague, N.Y. / Copiague) classed up to Walk/Trot/Canter for the next show.
