Equestrian Gallops to Second Place in Region

Brookville, N.Y. – The St. Joseph's Equestrian team tied for third, with Hofstra University, at the CW Post annual Horse Show. St. Joseph's finished the Fall season in second place with 155, behind Stony Brook University's 171.

Congratulations to Taylor Anderson (Shoreham, N.Y. / McGann Mercy) for classing up into the next level of riding. She now stands in both Open Flat and Open Fences; the highest level of intercollegiate riding.

Maclain Palumbo: Walk-Trot-Canter-first
Alexis Prusi: Novice Flat-first
Stephanie Rekowicz: Intermediate Flat-sixth
Cassie Scofield: Open Flat-sixth, Intermediate Fences-sixth
Kevin Shaw: Walk-Trot-Canter-fifth

The next competition for St. Joseph's will be in early March.
