Golden Eagles Equestrian Places Second at First Show of the Year
Yaphank, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's College equestrian team earned second place at their first horse show of the year on Sunday as the Golden Eagles hosted the opening meet at Good Shepherd Farm in Yaphank.
Nicole Robinson (Manorville, N.Y./ Eastport-South Manor) placed first in Novice Fences and Erin DeNicola (North Bellmore, N.Y./ Mepham) placed first in the Walk, Trot, Canter. Leah Uliano (Miller Place, N.Y./ Miller Place) classed out of Novice Flat and will now compete in Intermediate Flat.
The team will travel to Selden, N.Y. on Sunday to compete in a show hosted by Adelphi University at the Olde Towne Equestrian Center at 8 a.m.
