Equestrian Places Third at Adelphi Show

Selden, N.Y. – The second show of the season for the SJC equestrian team was hosted by Adelphi University at Olde Towne Equestrian Center and they finished in third place.  Their total of 22 points placed them behind first place Stony Brook University second place Adelphi University.

The team's individual standings were as follows:

Alyssa Converse - Open Flat: Sixth Place, Open Fences: Fifth Place

Erin DeNicola - Walk Trot Canter: Third Place

Caitlyn Kempsey - Walk Trot: Sixth Place

Melissa Mausser - Intermediate Flat: Second Place, Novice Fences: Fifth Place

Kimberly McKeon - Novice Flat: First Place

Lexi Metz - Walk Trot Canter: First Place

Nikki Nobile - Walk Trot Canter: First Place

Maclain Palumbo - Novice Flat: Third Place

Nicole Robinson - Novice Flat: Fifth Place

Heidi Rohr - Walk Trot Canter: Third Place

Rachel Russak - Walk Trot Canter: First Place

Leah Uliano - Novice Flat: Second Place, Intermediate Fences: Third Place

Rachel Russak classed out of Walk Trot Canter and will now compete in Novice.

The ladies' next event is this Sunday, once again at Olde Towne, but hosted by Stony Brook.
