Golden Eagle Equestrians Earn 2nd Place in Penultimate Show of the Fall Season

Melville, N.Y. — The Golden Eagles continue to dominate every venue they encounter, earning the title of the Reserve High Point Team of the day on Sunday with a total of 32 points in their fifth horse show of the season. The Golden Eagles were only bested by first place team, New York University (35), at the show hosted by Molloy College at Thomas School of Horsemanship.

SJC was ahead of the pack for much of the day. Kimberly McKeon contributed to this exceptional performance with a first place spot in Novice Flat. Both Lexi Metz and Heidi Rohr earned first place in Walk, Trot Canter while Nicole Robinson and Rachel Russak each earned first place in Novice Fences.

The Golden Eagles will travel to Greenville, N.Y. for their last horse show of the fall season this Sunday. The show will be hosted by LIU Post at the North Shore Equestrian Center.
