Equestrian Remains in First After Fall Season

Greenvale, NY| The final show of the fall season took place at the Long Island University campus stable, North Shore Equestrian Center. 

The Golden Eagles had an impressive day of riding with first places from Jr. Leah Uliano in Open Flat, Sr. Alyssa Converse in Open Fences, Sr. Maclain Palumbo in Intermediate Flat, So. Lexi Metz in Novice Fences, So. Heidi Rohr in Novice Fences, Fr. Nicole Scotto in Novice Flat, So. Heidi Rohr in Novice Flat, and Sr. Caitlyn Kempsey in Walk Trot Canter.

It was neck and neck for points all day and came down to the final rides to determine the afternoon's winner. The Golden Eagles came in third place overall with 32 points, but continued to defend their first place point value overall throughout the year with a grand total of 166 points. Stony Brook University ended their season behind the SJC Golden Eagles in second place with 138 points, and NYU right behind them with 134 points.
