Equestrian Competes at Regionals

Regionals this year took place at Country Farms Equestrian Center, hosted by the Suffolk Country Community College Team.

Sr. Alyssa Converse came in reserve high point rider and Jr. Leah Uliano came in fourth for the Cacchione Cup, a trophy for riders in both Open Fences and Open Flat. Riders who place either first or second in their class qualify to ride at Zones individually and compete against some of the best riders in Zone 2. The following are the results from the event:

Sr. Alyssa Converse – Open Fences – 1^st Place: Zone Qualifier

Sr. Melissa Mausser – Open Flat  - 6^th Place

Fr. Nicole Scotto – Intermediate Fences – 8^th Place

Jr. Leah Uliano – Intermediate Flat – 3^rd Place

Sr. Maclain Palumbo – Intermediate Flat – 6^th Place

Jr. Nicole Robinson – Novice Fences  - Reserve

Sr. Nikki Nobile – Novice Flat – 2^nd Place: Zone Qualifier

Jr. Nicole Robinson – Novice Flat – 5^th Place

So. Heidi Rohr – Walk/Trot/Canter – 1^st Place: Zone Qualifier

Fr. Amber Goodman – Walk/Trot/Canter – 2^nd Place: Zone Qualifier

Sr. Caitlyn Kempsey – Walk/Trot – 5^th Place
