Patchogue, N.Y. – Senior guard Evan Mohammed (Bayside, N.Y./Holy Cross) has been named the Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the period ending 11/23/14.

Mohammed averaged 24.0 points on 19-of-36 shooting – including 9-of-19 from beyond the arc – in a pair of contests this past week.  He poured in a team-high 29 points with four three-point field goals on Nov. 19 in the Golden Eagles' 79-77 loss to Medgar Evers.  He also scored 19 points with five three-pointers as SJC fell to CCNY in overtime on Nov. 21, 84-72. 

Women's basketball player Jackie Zizzo (Bethpage, N.Y. / Bethpage) was named to the Skyline Conference Honor Roll as she averaged 14.5 points and nailed seven three-point field goals in a 1-1 week for the Lady Golden Eagles.
