Purchase, NY| Senior Isaiah Moore scored 18 points as the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's basketball team (0-1) fell to Manhattanville College (1-0), 74-70, in an opening-night defeat on Wednesday evening.

Senior Jarred Marrow went for 17 points and four assists, and sophomore Frank Basile recorded 10 points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Junior transfer Christen Brown scored 11 points in his SJC debut.
