Patchogue, NY| St. Joseph's College (L.I.) Assistant Vice President & Senior Director of Athletics & Recreation Shantey M. Hill announced on July 20 the appointment of Jeff DiMarco as head coach of the institution's men's golf program.

DiMarco arrives at St. Joseph's having most recently served as head coach of the Dowling College men's team for the past 19 seasons. During his time with the Golden Lions, DiMarco led the program to six consecutive NCAA postseason appearances from 2010 to 2015 and saw four individuals receive All-Region accolades.

"I'm very excited to be the new head golf coach here at St Joseph's college. I've always admired the school and its standing in athletics and the community," said DiMarco. "It's my hope and desire to continue the success of the program and take the team to the next level in collegiate competition."

Born in Holbrook, NY and a graduate of Sachem High School, Coach DiMarco attended Suffolk Community College where he received his Associate's in 1993. He went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science in 1995 and an MBA in 2001 both at Dowling College.

A former collegiate star, DiMarco was a member of the golf teams at both Suffolk Community College from (1991-93) and Dowling College (1993-95). DiMarco was named Dowling golf team MVP in 1994, and in 1999 he was a MGA Public Link Championship qualifier.

In 1995, DiMarco received his New York State Coaching Certification and was elected into the PGA of America in 2013 after completing his apprenticeship. Additionally, he holds certificates from various golf schools in the northeast and is a member of the Golf Coaches of America (GCAA) and was the recipient of a 10-year service award for outstanding service.

A regular competitor in local professional events, DiMarco also runs junior and women's camps and clinics on Long Island.
