Nadeau Captures First at Golden Eagles Invitational On Friday

Bellport, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team hosted the Golden Eagles Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Bellport Golf Club in Bellport, NY. The hosts finished in second at the invitational with a score of 320 (+20).

Freshman Michael Nadeau had a strong showing at the invitational earning a first place finish (72), edging out Andrew Goldman from Farmingdale State but one stroke (73).

Senior Evan Schech shot the lowest score of his collegiate career with a score of 77 which was good enough for a top-five finish.

Sophomore George Fabricatore shot an 85 on the day, senior Brandon Hauser followed up with an 86 for an 11th and 12th place finish, respectively.

Patrick Standard rallied up the Golden Eagles finished 18 strokes over par (88) which was good enough for a 13th place finish.

The Golden Eagles will now travel to Avondale, PA for the Chestnut Hill Invitational at the Inniscrone Golf Club on Tuesday October 18.
