Men's Golf Drops Season Opener to Yeshiva on Friday Afternoon

Bronx, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team dropped its first contest of the season, 338-334, to Skyline Conference rival Yeshiva University on Friday Afternoon at Pelham Bay Golf Course.

Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was Vinny Garofalo who was the top-finisher along with YU's Solomon Shulman, both players shot 81 (+10) on the afternoon.

Patrick Standard followed Garofalo's top performance with an 82 on the afternoon. Joseph Tantillo shot an 83, while Josh Rose rounded out the Golden Eagles with a 92.

The Golden Eagles will travel to Harrisburg, PA to take on Penn St. Harrisburg for the two-day tournament on Sept. 16.
