Tantillo Claims All-Conference Honors at Skyline Golf Championships

Farmingdale, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's golf team finished fifth in a field of seven competing teams at the 2019 Skyline Conference Championships at Bethpage Red on Monday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles were led by junior Joseph Tantillo, who finished sixth with a two-day score of 153 (+13). Tantillo, a Skyline All-Conference First-Team selection his first two seasons, earned Second-Team honors for his performance. 

Sophomore Patrick Diecidue (165) and freshman Ryan Kayton (165) finished tied for 21st place, and senior Justin Conroy (168) rounded out SJC's scoring contingent in 26th place.

Manhattanville's Reid Robertson (144) and Robert Andrews (145) finished in first and second places, respectively, and powered the Valiants to a Skyline Conference title. Farmingdale totalled 608 points, five strokes off Manhattanville, and finished second. 

The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday, October 11 when they host a tri-match at Bellport Golf Club at 12:00 pm.
