Men's Soccer Visits U.S. Naval Academy on Road Trip
Annapolis, Md. - The St. Joseph's College men's soccer team took some time out of their busy opening weekend road trip to visit the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
The team was given a guided tour of the entire campus and learned about the traditions and values of life at the Academy. The student-athletes were educated on the history of the Naval Academy and the roots of the rivalry with Army.
The Golden Eagles were also briefed on what life is like as a midshipman, as compared to the traditional lifestyle of an American college student.
It was an unforgettable experience for head coach Tim Trava and his team. "Visiting the U.S. Naval Academy was an unbelievable experience for my guys," said Trava. "The values that they were taught will stay with them for the rest of their lives."
