Men's Soccer's Gomez Appears on Skyline Weekly Honor Roll

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon, and amongst the winners was Avery Gomez of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's soccer team who appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll

Gomez posted a 2-0 record last week allowing just one goal on 11 shots. In a 3-1 win over Yeshiva on September 20, Gomez was credited with four saves and on September 24 the Bay Shore, NY native posted a six-save shutout—his first of the season and the 10th of his career.

In three Skyline Conference matches this season, Gomez has posted a 2-1 record with a 1.03 goals-against average and an .800 save percentage. The senior's 5.13 saves-per-game are currently seventh among Skyline goalkeepers.
