Men’s Soccer Falls to Stockton on the Road

Galloway, NJ| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's soccer team was defeated, 6-0, by Stockton University in a non-conference contest at G. Larry James Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The loss sends the Golden Eagles to 2-9-0 overall on the year as the Ospreys improve to 9-2-2. 

Junior keeper Tyler Flaherty allowed four goals on 11 shots in the first half and took the loss for SJC in goal. Sophomore Aydin Olgun played the second half and conceded one goal on five shots.

St. Joseph's mustered only three shots in the contest, coming off the feet of Connor Brady, Dominic Altrui and Rayneri Ruiz.

SJC was outshot 13-0 in the first half and entered the break down 4-0. In total, the Golden Eagles were outshot 22-3 in the contest and won two corners to Stockton's six.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, October 12 when they visit SUNY Maritime for a Skyline Conference contest at 2:00 pm.
