How it happened
  • The Golden Eagles found the back of the net midway through the first half when a cross deflected off multiple defenders until Dacos got a right foot on it to find Pelaez who buried it

  • Early into the second half St. Joseph's would garner five different scoring opportunities but OW was able to keep the chances away keeping the game within one

  • Mariani opened SJLI's counterattack by collecting the ball at midfield and dribbling past multiple defenders to fire a shot just at the top of the box into the lower right corner of the goal

  • St. Joseph's held a strong defense when Owneburg found the ball to play it forward where the sprinting Mariani was able to beat a defender and keeper to put it away to seal the 4-0 win
