Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Matt Reed – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Junior, Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford HS
Reed posted three victories at the No. 2 singles flight as St. Joseph's-L.I. registered wins over York (6-3) and USMMA (6-3) and fell to Mount Saint Mary (8-1)…won 6-3, 6-1 against York (NY) on Apr. 2…earned a 6-1, 6-1 decision on Apr. 4 versus USMMA…accounted for the Golden Eagles' only point against MSMC on Apr. 6 with a 6-3, 6-2 victory…improved to 5-2 at the No. 2 flight on the season.  

Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Dan Witke – Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian HS
Witkie won a pair of singles matches in Skyline play as Mount Saint Mary improved to 3-0 in league action with victories over NYU-Poly (6-3) and St. Joseph's-L.I. (8-1)…earned a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) decision at fifth singles against NYU-Poly on Apr. 4…notched a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-5) win at No. 5 singles on Apr. 6 versus St. Joseph's-L.I…fell at fourth singles on Apr. 7 against regionally ranked RPI…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the third time.

Softball Pitcher of the Week
Julia De Carmine – St. Joseph's-L.I.
Senior, RHP, Holtsville, NY/Sachem East HS
De Carmine won a pair of starts in Skyline play while scattering seven hits and two runs…allowed one run on two hits and struck out three on Apr. 6 in the Golden Eagles' 9-1 victory over Purchase…yielded one run and issued one walk as SJC posted a 6-1 win versus NYU-Poly on Apr. 7…added seven hits and six RBI at the plate…named the Skyline Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. 

Softball Players of the Week
Kristen Beikirch – The Sage Colleges
Sophomore, 2B, Brockport, NY/Brockport HS
Beikirch collected 16 hits in 25 at-bats (.640) with 10 runs scored and seven RBI in a 4-2 week for the Gators…cracked five doubles and a home run…went 3-for-4 with three RBI in a 7-6 loss to Farmingdale State on Apr. 7…had a pair of multi-hit performances on Apr. 6 as Sage earned two wins (4-1, 5-2) against Old Westbury…collected five hits on Apr. 4 in the Gators' 20-4 victory over Skidmore.

Stephanie Karcher – Mount Saint Mary
Sophomore, Catcher, Oxford, CT/Oxford HS
Karcher batted .600 (12-for-20) with eight runs scored and seven RBI over six contests…compiled eight extra-base hits, including four doubles and three home runs…added three walks and had a slugging percentage of 1.350…went 5-for-7 in a doubleheader versus Purchase on Apr. 4.

Softball Rookies of the Week
Meagan Anderson – Farmingdale State
Freshman, Catcher, Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford HS
Anderson collected 10 hits in 22 at-bats (.456) with six RBI and five runs scored over six contests…hit safely in all six games and added a pair of walks…is currently riding a 10-game hitting streak…named the Skyline Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.

Katie Kovage – The Sage Colleges
Freshman, RHP, Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosick Falls Central
Kovage notched a pair of complete-game victories over three starts while posting a 1.17 earned run average…tossed a one-hit shutout and did not walk a batter on Apr. 4 in the Gators' 8-0 win versus Skidmore…yielded an unearned run on five hits as Sage recorded a 4-1 victory over Old Westbury on Apr. 6…earns her second Skyline Rookie of the Week honor.
