Flohr Named Skyline Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners was freshman Will Flohr of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's volleyball team who was named Rookie of the Week.
Flohr recorded a game-best nine kills, served up six aces and hit at a .727 attacking percentage as the Golden Eagles defeated Medgar Evers College in their inaugural match on January 24. On the road vs. York College on January 26 the Lindenhurst, NY native collected six kills and recorded a game-high eight service aces.
Through the team's first two games Flohr leads all SJC players in kills (15), total attacks (31) and aces (14).
The Golden Eagles return to action on Thursday, February 2 when they head to Brooklyn College to face the Bulldogs in a non-conference matchup at 6:00 PM.
