Men's Volleyball Draws Endicott in NCAA Tournament First Round

Patchogue, NY| Following its Skyline Conference championship victory on Saturday afternoon, the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's volleyball team drew #2 Endicott College in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship on Monday morning.

The sides meet on Friday, April 19 in Beverly, MA and the winner advances to the quarterfinals to face the winner of SUNY New Paltz vs. Baruch College. 

Endicott and SJC enter the tournament with identical 25-6 records and will meet for the first time ever on Friday. The Gulls defeated Elms in the NECC championship game on Saturday to earn a tournament bid. 

St. Joseph's swept SUNY Purchase on Saturday to claim its second title in as many seasons. Last season, the Golden Eagles were bounced in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by #4 Kean University. 

Friday's match is slated for 6:30 pm on the campus of Endicott. The winner will play in Saturday's quarterfinal match at 6:00 pm.
