Cross Country & Track Teams Volunteer at Special Olympics

Patchogue, N.Y. - The St. Joseph's College track & field and cross country members volunteered at the Special Olympics Adapted Games held at St. Joseph's College.

Each Golden Eagle helped out at various events such as bowling, soccer kick, basketball, wheel chair races and tennis.

"Everyone had an amazing time," said head coach David Oroza. "I am very proud of them for donating their time to give back to the community. It was terrific to see the team cheer the Olympians on and watch them succeed in their events after training for the day."
