Softball Is #5 Seed in ECAC Tournament, Will Travel to Rutgers-Camden
Patchogue, N. Y. - The St. Joseph's women's softball team has been selected to play in the ECAC Metro Tournament starting this Wednesday and will travel to face Rutgers-Camden in Camden, N.J. Game time is at 6:00 p.m.
The Golden Eagles (19-18) are the #5 seed in the six-team tournament. Rutgers-Camden (17-16) is the #4 seed.
All first round tournament games are single-elimination format. The top two seeds (Richard Stockton and Sage) received a first-round bye. Stockton will host the weekend action on Saturday and Sunday (May 12-13) and will be double-elimination format.

Double-Elimination Semifinals – Saturday, May 12th at Richard Stockton
Game 1: Rutgers-Camden/St. Joseph's (LI) winner vs. No. 1 Richard Stockton
Game 2: SUNY Old Westbury/Brooklyn winner vs. No. 2 Sage Colleges
Game 3: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 (Elimination game)
Game 4: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Championship – Sunday, May 13th at Richard Stockton
