Julianne Tierney – St. Joseph's College (L.I.)
Junior, Outfield, Bethpage, NY
Tierney batted .556 (15-for-27) with 13 runs scored and 13 RBI as SJC won six of its eight contests on the week. She cracked seven doubles and three home runs for a 1.148 slugging percentage and added five walks. She went 4-for-4 with three RBI on April 2 in an 8-3 win over NYU-Poly and went 5-for-6 with six RBI in a pair of wins (15-0, 14-5) against Purchase on April 5.
Meagan Anderson – Farmingdale State
Sophomore, Catcher, Patchogue, NY
Anderson recorded three hits in all four of Rams' contests on the week from her leadoff position in the batting order in a 3-1 week for FSC and scored seven runs and added two triples and a double. She scored a pair of runs on April 6 as FSC earned a 7-3 win versus St. Joseph's-L.I and stroked a double, a triple and knocked in three in the Rams' 9-2 victory over Old Westbury on April 5.
Pitcher of the Week
Mackenzie Heizer – College of Mount Saint Vincent
Freshman, Vacaville, Calif.
Heizer posted a 3-1 record with a 0.47 earned run average over 29.2 innings pitched with 13 hits allowed and 51 strikeouts and allowed one run on five hits while fanning 10 on April 6 in the Dolphins' 2-1 (9) victory over Sage and struck out 14 in a 1-0 loss to Mount Saint Mary on April 5. She allowed an unearned run on two hits on Apr. 2 with 16 strikeouts as CMSV posted a 5-1 win versus York (NY).
