Arbiter Tabbed ECAC Metro Player of the Week

Danbury, CT| Senior catcher Kristen Arbiter of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) softball team collected her second weekly accolade in as many days on Tuesday afternoon when she was named ECAC Metro Player of the Week. The Seaford, NY native was tabbed Skyline Conference Player of the Week on Monday morning.

Through eight games last week (SJC 6-2), Arbiter batted .500 (15-for-30), scored eight times, drove in 11 runs and hit for 10 extra-base hits (7 2B, 2 3B, HR). The catcher belted a walk-off home run in the first game of SJC's home doubleheader vs. John Jay on Tuesday and went 3-for-4 with two doubles a triple and two RBI's in an 11-3 win over Hunter on Thursday.

An ECAC honoree for the first time in her career, Arbiter currently leads the Skyline Conference in RBI's (13), doubles (9), home runs (2) and total bases (40).
