Softball to Host 2018 Skyline Conference Championship

Patchogue, NY| The second-seeded St. Joseph's College (L.I.) softball team will host the double-elimination portion of the 2018 Skyline Conference Softball Championship beginning this Friday, May 4 and running through Sunday, May 6 at the SJC Outdoor Field Complex.

As the highest seed with a lighted complex, the Golden Eagles welcome top-seeded Mount Saint Mary College and the two winners of Wednesday's first-round contests between Farmingdale State and St. Josephs (Brkln), and the College of Mount Saint Vincent and SUNY Old Westbury.

SJC, which enters the tournament with a 14-2 conference record and an 18-8 overall mark, finished one game behind Mount Saint Mary (15-1) in the Skyline standings.

Game 3: Mount Saint Vincent/Old Westbury winner vs. Mount Saint Mary, 2 p.m.

Game 4: St. Joseph's-Brooklyn/Farmingdale State winner vs. St. Joseph's-Long Island, 4 p.m.

Saturday

Game 5: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner, 11 a.m.

Game 6: Game 3 loser vs. Game 4 loser, 1 p.m.
