Track and Field Competes at TCNJ Invitational

Ewing, NJ| The St. Joseph's College track and field team participated in the College of New Jersey Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

For the men, Nick DeLuca competed in the 3000-meter race and finished 19th out of 46 with a time of 9:33.69. Daniel Antonowich took home 13th out of 40 in the 400-hurdles (1:01.59) with Ryan MacDonell finishing with a time of 1:06.89.

On the field, Brandon Phan recorded a distance of 6.15m in the long jump placing him 17th of 42.

On the women's side, Jennifer Holownia finished second in the 400-hurdles breaking her own school record with a time of 1:08.14 and recorded a time of 27.64 in the 200-meter dash with Savannah McMaster (29.75), Caroline ZacZek (29.77), and Lemonia Stroumbos (30.01) finishing behind her. 

Karli Murphy and Julia Boris competed in the 400-meter finishing with times of 1:09.72 and 1:11.75, respectively.

The 4x100 relay team of McMaster, Stronbos, ZacZek, and Holownia placed 10th with a time of 54.32.

The Golden Eagles return to action at the Coach "O" Invitational hosted by the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY on Sunday, April 14.
