Track and Field Completes at NJAC Outdoor Championships

Galloway, NJ| The St. Joseph's College track and field teams competed at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track Championship held at Stockton College on Saturday and Sunday.

Overall, the women's team placed eighth with nine total points.

Jennifer Holownia came away with a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.10.

Meagan Haviland placed 13th in the 1500-meter race with a time of 5:14.86 and Sandra Vivar Marin finishing 17th at 5:37.57. Haviland also competed in the 800-meter with a time of 2:34.64.

The 4x400-relay team of Haviland, Boris, Vivar Marin, and Holownia finished with a time of 4:39.17.

Nick DeLuca had a ninth-place finish in the steeplechase coming in at 10:36.24.

On the field, Joseph Spataro recorded a distance of 9.45-meters

The Golden Eagles return to action at the ECAC Outdoor Championships on Wednesday, May 15.
